  11. Wash your face before sleeping, and ensure that there is no make-up on your face before you sleep, because, make-up creams may spoil your face as it will be there for the whole night. It is better if no cream is applied. What I feel is, wash your face before sleeping and if at all you want to apply any cream, just apply night cream and none other than that.

creating the sophisticated look
1. Apply a light eyeshadow over your entire eyelid from lash line to eyebrow bone, but not beyond.
2. Define the crease of your eyelid using a medium or dark shade. The deeper the shade, the more dramatic look.
3. To open up your eyes so that they appear livelier, place a dot of a light shade in the inner corner of each eye.

Tip: When choosing an eyeshadow shade, keep in mind that a pastel shade will look softer while a darker shade will appear more dramatic when applied.

How to Make Your Eyeshadow Glow

 Choosing the Right Shadow
Selecting the right shadow is key. If you have fine lines around your eyes, steer clear of frosted shadows. Go for shimmer shadows instead. Shimmer shadows look good on everyone, offering a more subtle sheen that still adds drama, especially if you plan to layer them. Choose a color that complements your eyes, too. Brown eyes look gorgeous with neutrals, which create rich, radiant color. Green eyes look stunning with caramel and light bronze; blue eyes look vibrant with pale peach or cantaloupe; and hazel eyes look lovely with golden brown and chestnut, says Paula Begoun in "The Complete Beauty Bible."

Prep Work

To make your skin glow, exfoliate properly to get rid of flaky skin or other buildup. Massaging the delicate skin around your eyes with a soft cloth as you wash your face should do the trick. Always be gentle with that fragile skin, and moisturize with an eye cream.

Applying Makeup

Before the shadow, apply foundation lightly so it provides a smooth base without getting cakey. If you need to even out your skin tone, use a little concealer, too. Apply your eyeliner in the style you like best -- simple or dramatic both work for this look.

Applying Shadow

Now blend a light shimmery shadow from your lashes to your brow, and out toward your cheekbones. Fade it out toward those two spots. Apply a darker color over your lids, blending it at the crease of the eye so you don't have a sudden color shift. Then blend in a darker color at the crease of your eye, sweeping it outward slightly. Blend a little of the same shade you used on your lids above the dark line, creating a smoother transition into the lighter shade. Apply an even deeper shade at the inside corner of your eye. The transition from dark to light creates that gorgeous glowing look that makes for stunning evening style.
